Philomina Okeke-Ihejirika is a Full Professor in the Women’s and Gender Studies Department at the University of Alberta. Throughout her academic career, Dr. Okeke-Ihejirika has worked on research projects, program planning, and graduate and professional training. Committed to initiatives related to gender issues in Africa, Canada and other parts of the world, her projects and publications are grounded in transnational, post-colonial, and intersectional feminist approaches.
